Close up magic is a great way to get the party atmosphere going! This photo was taken at a recent wedding and demonstrates the impact that magic can have. People have often seen magic on the television but it is another thing altogether when it happens in their own hands. Not only does it have a huge immediate appeal but people will remember it for years to come.
I have recently been sent some photos by the highly talented Imagine That studios who are the Cardiff wedding photographers of the year .
These photos managed to capture the wonderful vitality of my work. I often get photos of me working at tables inside venues and it is such a refreshing change to see some images in the sun. This was a beautiful wedding at Miskin Manor, the weather was glorious and everybody got into the days celebrations with gusto.
I have been flat out performing my magic at weddings over the last few weeks and I have performed at some of the most splendid venues around South Wales. This photo is of Miskin Manor, a beautiful hotel just outside of Cardiff. I have worked as a magician here on many occasions and always enjoyed the beautiful gardens and stately rooms, a great setting to perform magic.

As well as performing close up magic at weddings I sometimes provide children’s shows too. These photos were taken recently at a wedding near Cardiff. After entertaining the children while the speeches were taking place I the performed my magic around the tables for all the adults.
For the last fourteen years I have performed my shows at Folly Farm in Pembrokeshire. Folly Farm is a huge success story, starting off twenty years ago as a dairy farm and turning itself into the biggest tourist attraction in Wales. They now have a 700 seat theatre where I perform my juggling, magic and ultra-violet shows.
My shows are for all ages, parents included! They are at 1.00pm daily over the February half term but at 3.00pm during the rest of the year. Please get in touch with me to confirm dates and times and do come and say hello afterwards!
This coming weekend I shall be attending the wedding fayre at the Stradey Park Hotel in Llanelli. This two day fayre is being held on January 10th and 11th 2015. This is a perfect opportunity to see what I can do and to have a chat about what I can offer.

This has been an incredibly varied week with bookings taken me all over south Wales. Last night I was performing my magic with a brilliant Michael Jackson impersonator at the O2 Christmas party in Swansea and tomorrow I am supporting a local charity, Denmark Farm, at a fundraising event.
Over the weekend I shall be at the Admiral Insurance Christmas party, an intimate event in Newcastle Emlyn, the Peppermint Bar in Swansea and working as a magician at a very special celebration in Pembrokeshire.
And from there it starts to get busy! More later…
Over the weekend I performed my magic for the group Only Men Aloud at the first concert of their 2014 Christmas tour.
Only Men Aloud won the Last Choir Standing show which was on the BBC. Since then they have released many albums and play to sell-out audiences across the country. They performed at The Royal Variety Performance and featured on the Christmas edition of Strictly Come Dancing.
They were a pleasure to watch and also a pleasure to perform for!

I think I have lost count of the weddings I performed magic at during the summer! Each one was different, each one had a special something that reflected the unique quality of the day. These photos were taken at The King Arthur Hotel by Owen Mathias, a great memory of a wonderful day.
